The story of the film is based on current social bias Live in Relationship which is unacceptable in the small cities of India by the society. Luka Chuppi is based on a live-in relationship, in which Reporter Guddu (Kartik Aryan) and Rshmi (Kriti Sonan), daughter of Trivedi Ji (Vinay Pathak) who lives in Mathura, Guddu and Rshmi both loves each other. Rashmi wants that they should live with each other in live-in-relationship But Guddu is not prepared for it, but later on Guddu agreed for it and than both go to Gwalior. In Gwalior, they renting a house and pretending to be married. What happens after that this film is based on this.
